I think in our current defending mode where we concede 3 goals to shit teams like Brighton and 4+ to decent teams like Liverpool I’m not sure it would have made much difference at all.
Liverpool had decent chances to score another 3 or 4 in the last 20mins
We are a shambles and it won’t get better as we are.
I noticed at goal kicks Liverpool set up as a 4-2-4 which tells you what they think of our midfield. We still couldn’t get and control the ball

Didn't see the game, only the "highlights" on the O/S.
Wonder what would have happened if Ayew's effort early on had gone in.
Could it have completely changed the outcome, or just meant we lost 2-4 instead of 1-4?

The free kick just inside our half, taken by Noble, passed back to obonna, who passes it back to Hart in goal. To punt aimlessly up field, to the 2 useless forwards, who don't jump for the ball. Absolute dog shit!!

Worst thing for me is that Bilic really scewed this one up. The first goal was because we were set up all wrong and had no chance to defend what happened. Then heads went down and we fell a part with individules making mistakes...
2nd half we started well again and tried to turn it round, but the mistakes due to poor concentration killed that a minute after our goal.
The first goal was the killer, why did all 3CBs go up? and even Cresswell, and Fernandes were too high

The worst thing about last night's loss is fucking cowardly wankers on here, who live light-years away from London, digging-out proper West Ham United fans who go to games every week.
These said non-London fans don't even go to games.

I think the biggest issue is that I for one can't see any positives to cling onto. Even the shining light of Lanzini will almost certainly be off in January or at the very least at the end of the season. At least when relegated in the past there is something like in 78 the Club still had the likes of Brooking, Bonds, Lampard and co. We need a spark but fuck knows where its going to come from!

I'm 50 years old and admittedly we've never been an exceptional side.
The thing that we did have was a hardcore fanatitical support.
I've seen more shit football served up at Upton Park than I care to remember the difference is I always came back for more.
We are not the only club that's moved but we have moved to an athletic stadium.Our owners ultimately have one interest,being to get stinking fucking rich.

Here we go again. We must be the most deluded supporters in football. Because everything was great under the Icelandic's was it? And Terry Brown? At least Sullivan and Gold are West Ham and want the best for us. The team aren't playing shit because they don't like the air in Stratford. It's because this club time and time again make the wrong decision and that includes the Manager and coaching staff.

We were abject tonight. I have been very much for keeping Bilic in place, whilst we are still in touch with the teams just above the bottom three, however tonight's performance has probably done for him. If we had gone down fighting, playing to a discernible pattern, looking competitive etc. at least we would have made our various ways home still with some vestiges of optimism.
That's gone.

First 20 was encouraging, as they didn't have a sniff, and then the day turned to shit, apart from a few seconds after our goal. Criminal to concede so soon after giving ourselves a chance.
Whoever comes in will need a small miracle to make our spineless shower of shit resemble professional footballers.

Just back from the game.
Sat in the block right next to the away supporters in the West Stand and despite the performance on the pitch our fans were great and there was some good banter flying about with the scousers.
The performance and result just about summed up Bilic's reign over the past 15 months.
No energy, no pace, no organisation and no confidence.
I would go as far to say that Bilic is the worst defensive tactician we have ever had as a manager.
Thank fuck he is finally going.
